Players can only win one prize – for example If a player has a rating under 1800 but wins open second place, the top under 1800 prize will go to the next eligible person.
Prizes will be awarded via count back and not split among the points. Count back will be in order: Direct Encounter, Buchholz all, Buchholz median.

Pay the entry fee via bank transfer details on the entry form.
Entry Requirements
Entrants must be a member of Chess Association Queensland or another state chess body.
Cost to enter
Adult – $80
Concession – $60
Junior (under 18) – $50
Time control
60 minutes + 10 seconds per move Fischer time.
Byes
A maximum of 2 byes are available to round 1 to 5 only.
