Where we meet

Townsville Chess Club is changing venues for 2024.

We have been generously provided the use of the Mater Conference Centre on Fulham road for our regular club meetings this year.

This does mean however that we will meet on different nights of the week based on the availability of the room. We are trying to make the regular meeting nights fall on Tuesday as often as possible. Meeting nights will be posted on the calendar page.

Membership Costs

Yearly Membership
Adults	$200*
Life Members	$190*
Pensioner/Student	$140*

Yearly membership covers all membership and attendance fees and all regular competition entry throughout the year.

*Includes CAQ Membership of $20.

Casual Attendance Fees per Night

Casual attendance is for people who do not wish to participate in tournament play. Every night is available to the public to attend as a casual player.

Adults $5
Pensioner/Student $3
Juniors $3*

*Junior is age 17 and under.
